"Pareidolia" refers to the mind's tendency to perceive familiar patterns in random shapes. This painting captures that concept through abstract forms and vivid imagery. The figure on the left is defined by a brain-like shape of clouds, either in a night sky or reflected on a calm sea, and dressed in the silhouette of the urban skyline. The figure on the right has one tear streaming down her face as she becomes enveloped in and defined by the landscape of grass and flowers. Blurring the lines between reality and imagination, the piece invites viewers to discover their own meanings within the abstract forms.
