Nicole Martinelli is currently an international award-winning Artist and photographer whom artworks and photographs have been featured and exhibited in prominent galleries throughout the United States and Europe.The Artist and Photographer, Nicole Martinelli, is originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She now resides in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area, where she finds inspiration in the surrounding mountains and rural areas for her latest artworks and photographs. Nicole Martinelli's Photography and Hand-Painted E Paintings have been featured in numerous prestigious In Gallery Juried group exhibitions at galleries throughout the US and Europe, Galleries including yet not limited to; The Marblehead Arts Association Gallery, Matble head Massachusetts, Mosaic Arts Gallery, Mosaic Arts District, Fairfax Virginia, Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition BWAC Gallery in Brooklyn New York, San Diego Museum of Art Artist Guild , San Diego California, and CORE Art Space, Denver Colorado. The Artist and photographer has gained both National and International success and received awards in multiple international exhibitions based in Geneva, Switzerland.
About the Artist Nicole Martinelli
Nicole Martinelli Orignally from the Chicago land area of the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois The artist held her first solo exhibition at Madame Zuzu’s In highland park, owned by the talented Musician Billy Corgan front man of the alternative band, The Smashing Pumpkins.
The artist, Photographer Nicole Martinelli was originally an oil painter whom prior would use photography strictly for reference material purposes, but after physical illness made it difficult for her to paint, the artist found comfort and solace within nature by expressing herself artistically through photography Instead of her brush she allowed her lens to create her artistic passion. .
Nicole Martinelli's art has evolved throughout the years since her debut in 2014. After becoming more open-minded to different mediums and styles of artistic expression, and taking a break from the art world, Nicole regained her health; however, physical illness made it difficult for her to paint. Prior to becoming physically ill, the artist would only use photography strictly for reference material. Her difficult health circumstances prompted her to seek solace, peace, and comfort in nature, allowing her to fully explore her creative artistic expression through photography.
Recently, as of June 8, 2024. The artist's work was accepted and exhibited in a prestigious five-month international Juried exhibition located in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss Alps in Gstaad, Switzerland. The International Gallery Exhibition showcases the artist's work alongside forty artists from various countries, including but not limited to Switzerland. France, Italy, Malta, the United Kingdom, Poland and Greece. She also is in preparation for her upcoming solo exhibition at Artifact Projects in NYC.
