The back is cradled with wood furring Strips for easy hanging and the edges are coated with black lacquer. This piece features news Clippings and papers dating back to 1905. The large 'War' clipping is from a magazine from the 1940s right after Pearl Harbor was attacked. It is coated with a single coat of epoxy to offer maximum protection. It also is dried in such a way that it has a wet look, like it was freshly rained on. This is a great and affordable way to own a piece of original art and add a pop of color to your space.
