From the Series "Transitory Terrain", shown at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, deals with questions of identity versus alienation, of communicating and liaising between language and culture, in the space of boundaries between things; in the space where there is duality of connection and separation, of disengagement and merging. This boundary space is not just a visual image, but a meeting place with the other, a locus defining the self and hence defining the other, becoming neither self nor other—a locus of transition.
The word has a great role in my work, as a motive or source, and also as an image which is present in wordplay and in visual appearance.

Artist Statement
The point of departure in my work is one of ideas. Through my work, I explore boundaries and definitions of place and identity, focusing on ambivalent situations expressed through images such as bridges, houses, boats, and geographical maps. I frequently examine the relationships between databases, artistic heritage, and cultural belonging. Writing is an integral part of my work, appearing within the plastic work both as a source of ideas and as a visual element. A dialogue between the image, material, and text emerges in my work, moving along the axis between the real and the conceptual.
