The composition is structured into vertical columns, with the tiles in the center columns featuring a monochromatic silver-gray palette. These central tiles are characterized by a pronounced texture, reminiscent of a relief or a heavily worked impasto surface, where the play of light and shadow accentuates the dynamic contours and indentations.
Flanking these central columns, the outer tiles are imbued with warm, earthy tones ranging from ochre to burnt sienna, interspersed with hints of crimson and gold. This rich, variegated palette seems to take inspiration from natural elements like soil, rock formations, or the patina of aged metals. The textured surface of these outer tiles, while less pronounced than the center, still offers a palpable sense of depth and tactile interest.
This strategic alternation of color and texture creates a visual rhythm and invites the viewer to consider the interplay between the organic and the crafted. Puschmann's "INFINITY 8845" presents a study in contrast — not only in hue but also in topography, with the juxtaposition of the rough and the smooth, the cool and the warm, evoking a sense of the eternal interplay of opposing forces. The use of the term "infinity" in the title suggests a contemplation of endless variation and the boundless possibilities inherent in the combination of simple elements to create complex beauty.

BIOGRAPHY
Artist Statement: "In my art I strive to fuse the versatility of abstract art, wall art, geometry and color harmonies into a fascinating unity, particularly focusing on my 'Infinity' series, in which I work with colorful tiles that expand into infinite variations and constant transformation in a sustainable manner.”
About Brigitte Puschmann: Her “Infinity” series is particularly fascinating, in which she works with colored tiles that are small works of art in themselves. These tiles can be placed, swapped, removed or arranged on wooden panels as desired before or after the work is captured through the lens of the camera. The series name "Infinity" aptly reflects the almost endless possibilities of variation that prevail in their works.
