The outer columns are marked by a succession of vertical stripes that vary in width and hue, creating a vibrant spectrum. These stripes showcase a range of colors, including turquoise, pink, magenta, orange, and blue, punctuated by stripes of gray and mustard, lending the work a dynamic energy. The hard-edge technique is prominent, where each stripe is distinctly delineated, offering a flat, precise appearance.
The central column is a stark contrast to the chromatic vibrancy of its flanking counterparts. It features a series of tiles coated in a silver-gray palette, each with a heavily textured surface that appears almost sculptural. The impasto-like technique used here results in a tactile, three-dimensional effect, with the light catching and accentuating the raised areas, while the recesses remain shadowed, adding a profound depth to the piece.
This central panel serves as a visual and textural spine, with its reflective quality and the palpable surface topography providing a sensory counterpoint to the smooth, graphic stripes on either side. "INFINITY 1675" appears to explore the infinite variations and contrasts that can be achieved within a restricted format, with Puschmann juxtaposing linearity with texture and luminous sheen with matte finishes, creating a harmonious and thought-provoking piece.

BIOGRAPHY
Artist Statement: "In my art I strive to fuse the versatility of abstract art, wall art, geometry and color harmonies into a fascinating unity, particularly focusing on my 'Infinity' series, in which I work with colorful tiles that expand into infinite variations and constant transformation in a sustainable manner.”
About Brigitte Puschmann: Her “Infinity” series is particularly fascinating, in which she works with colored tiles that are small works of art in themselves. These tiles can be placed, swapped, removed or arranged on wooden panels as desired before or after the work is captured through the lens of the camera. The series name "Infinity" aptly reflects the almost endless possibilities of variation that prevail in their works.
