Biography

I am a visual artist with a focus on painting. I studied at the Academy of Arts in Münster, Germany.

Since 1990 I run studio and exhibition activity. Currently I live and work in Wuppertal. There I am co-founder of the Kunstraum Eckart - a place for art and culture.

For my paintings I use many painting techniques, which I apply experimentally and also combine with each other. This is how series or sequences on a special subject are created. The subjects develop from what I experience, see and feel.
