Artist Statement

Jack Irv is a native New Yorker from Downtown Manhattan, born in 1995. He has a multidisciplinary background as a filmmaker, screenwriter, actor, designer, and artist. In 2018, he graduated from The New School with a degree in Screen Studies. Irv’s work in both the film and art industries has extensively shaped his design perspective. His approach holds a distinct subjectivity and anti-commercial stance, allowing him to create with fearless authenticity. With a deep interest in anthropology and a background in graffiti, Irv bridges the unseen with the mainstream, aiming to reach a resilient nd diverse audience.
