Artist Biography

Paula Christenson is an Argentinian painter working between Salt Lake City, Utah, and Houston, Texas. Specializing in abstract expressionism, her work emphasizes the spontaneity of emotional freedom over intellectualism and realism. Christenson is represented by Serrano Gallery in Houston, Texas. She holds a degree in education and pursued formal art training at The Glassell School of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas, where she received her Certificate of Achievement in Painting. Her abstract paintings invite viewers to explore a dynamic interplay of color, shape, and line, offering a sense of imaginative freedom. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including a museum exhibition in Colorado.
