BIOGRAPHY

I am Carol Siskind, a New York -based artist, who has had a lifelong passion for drawing and painting. Growing up, my mother, who was an artist herself, instilled in me an appreciation for the beauty in the world. Although my career has been in standup comedy, I have pursued my artistic talents throughout my life.

When I paint, my objective is to channel my intense emotions into work that is colorful, complex, sophisticated and urgent. My reliable sense of humor also drives and informs everything I do. I hold an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a graduate degree from NYU. My work has been showcased in private collections throughout the United States.
