Born in Pennsylvania, Leah Poller received classical training in sculpture at the prestigious Ecole Nationale Superieure de Beaux Arts, in Paris, France. Partaking of a rich, multi-cultural environment, Poller interacted with foremost members of the international arts communities of France, Spain, Italy and Latin America during her 24 years in Paris. She returned to the United States in 1992, where she opened her studio in a consummate Soho loft in New York City.

Poller has exhibited nationally (NY, Chicago, Miami, LA, Tucson, Santa Fe, Washington, etc.) and internationally (France, Mexico, China, Italy) in one person, two person and competitive artist exhibitions. In 2015, Poller was featured as the only foreign artist in the Beijing Biennale of Female Sculptors.

Poller was co-founder of Intercambios de Arte y Cultural Internazionale in Mexico, where she spearheaded the restoration of a mural she identified as a masterwork by Philip Guston. In 2023, Manhattan Arts honored Poller with the Outstanding Woman Artist Achievement. She is co-founder of ArtFormsUs (Harlem, New York), Chairperson for PR for the New York Society of Women Artists (, member of the New York Artists Circle (NYAC), and the Sculpture Guild.  She divides her time between Harlem, NY, Lecce, Italy, and Nanchang, China.
