Artist Biography

Born in Manchester UK. Studied art in Blackpool and Newcastle Upon Tyne. Chris Macauley worked in the building trade for a decade, after which he began teaching art in Leicester. He has had two one man shows in London, one at Leicester Universities Attenborough arts centre and appeared on Sky Arts landscape Television. Macauley has work in private collections throughout the world, as well as receiving portrait commissions privately and through Mckay Williamson - Art Advisory London. Most recent painting was exhibited with the Royal Society of Marine Artists at the Mall Galleries London.
