White Knight is a deeply personal fine art photography series that explores the complexities of grief, memory, and emotional transformation. Created through a fusion of experimental photographic techniques—including ghosting, lens masking, light painting, and color flash gels—this body of work blurs the line between the visible and the intangible, between life and death.
Central to the series is the use of a Vaseline-smeared lens, evoking both the fading clarity of my father's awareness in his final months and the emotional haze of mourning. The symbolic interplay of red and blue tones represents the tension between opposing forces—presence and absence, love and loss—while carefully chosen objects embedded within each frame anchor the narrative in real, lived experience.
Each piece in the White Knight collection is a limited edition of 10, printed on Hahnemühle William Turner 310gsm, a premium, textured archival paper known for its museum-quality longevity and depth. These collectible prints are signed and numbered, offering art collectors a unique opportunity to own an emotionally resonant, visually compelling work that speaks to the universal journey of saying goodbye.
