Artist Biography

Rodney Band has spent 30 years passionately creating unique art from logs. He specializes in large to medium decorative, hand-turned, and sculptured bowls, featuring a fine polished finish. He works with a variety of African hardwood logs, with some pieces reaching nearly a meter in diameter.

Each piece I create is unique, like a fingerprint. My work embodies the harmony between craftsmanship and the individuality of the natural world.
