Artist Statement
My creative practice is driven by my state of mind and heart. The medium often changes depending on
the subject or the idea. Sometimes the ideas emerge with their ready forms. In my younger years, I had
many inspirations from the international Art world, and I did follow trends. I had questionings related to identity, then to social happenings. Later the ideas and concepts started reflecting a calmer pace. They still dictate the choice of forms, based on truth, using a simple language that can speak to anyone, and not only the spectators\receivers of the Art circle. My practice went through an evolution starting from classical drawing, to objects and later installation, performance and writing. The real driver is sincerity. Without sincerity there is no genuineness in Art and without genuineness, Art does not fulfil its purpose.
