BIOGRAPHY
Paulina Archambault is a contemporary artist, born in Poland, living in the USA since 2016. She began her professional journey in 2007 after finishing her visual studies in Poland and Germany (Bachelor of Arts in Hamburg). Since then, she works on exploring her style. She believes a personal style develops through intensive working. She is using acrylic paint, painting on canvas and paper. Large to small format. Usually expressive portraits, figures, and also still life. Currently, she exhibits in Belgium, USA, and soon also in Australia.
Artist Statement
I’m a European-trained contemporary artist, living in the USA for 7 years. Since August 2023 in Virginia. I’m fascinated by the human face and its expressions. In my paintings, in a gestural, intuitive way, I’m catching the emotions. I use acrylic paint, large brushes, and different tools to underline the dramaturgy of the movement. Looking for complete expression and working on a painting as long as is needed to meet my intentions. I’m painting mostly portraits, but also figures and still life. Large to small format, on canvas and paper. I pursue my artistic way with passion and commitment.
