King Christian Dusabe (b. 1996) is a visual artist based in Kigali, Rwanda. Showing interest in art from an early age, he pursued formal education at Ecole d’arts de NYUNDO, an art school located in Rubavu, Rwanda. Since 2017, Dusabe has been telling stories through his contemporary figurative and abstract works, primarily focusing on human figures and portraits. His artistic practice explores complex social identity, personal history, and nostalgia, using oil, acrylic, and watercolor.
