Enkhtaivan
Enkhtaivan Ochirbat is a visual artist and researcher of Mongolian. Now he is studying for a doctorate at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. He Graduated from the Mongolian Fine Art Academy in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree and then did a master’s. He has been a Lecturer at the Fine Art Academy of the Mongolian State University of Arts, and Culture taught for 12 years. I have produced over 20 years of continuous abstract paintings, installations, sculptures, video art, and calligraphies.
His artistic research and concepts for visualization of destiny, the connection of Buddhist philosophy and science, karma, the enlightenment, hell and heaven, their context, and relationship codes. Also, the multidisciplinary fusion of philosophy, the subconscious mind, the alien world, and emptiness. Especially his research on the interaction between emptiness and reality and their expression visualization narrative.
Their interconnectedness, interaction with nature, the conflict of different sources, and interdependence. He's working context on character conversion, doing installations mixed with video art, the art-house and documentary film, abstract painting, and eclectic performance.
He uses organic materials in most of his work, such as sheep wool, stone, and water. And more based makes eclectic experiments on the relationship between nature and modern society, philosophy, and science, using Mongolian folk proverbs, folklore, and ancient shamanic expressions.
He has participated in international projects, international Biennales, and international fairs and successfully participated in the 57th Venice Biennale "Karma" video installation of the Mongolian pavilion /Tngre of heaven/. In addition, his paintings have been saved in the gallery collection of the Seoul Metropolitan Museum,” Lotte Art Gallery” in Seoul, Mongolian modern art galleries, and the Singapore Fine Art Museum, Germany, USA.
Also, my artwork was nominated for the "Signature Art Prize 2011" organized by the Singapore Fine Art Museum and Asia Pacific Brewery Foundation. And residence programs/Urban nomads citizen's/festival berlin 2014, project. Modern ceramic project, Jingdeijing China, Taiwan Mongolian exchanging project, Germany's 2016 "Nord art" art festival.
