Emel Ozkul (born 1989, Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish artist, based in the United States. After studying law she went on to receive an M.F.A. at Yeditepe University in plastic arts and painting in Istanbul, 2019. To further develop her artistic vision, she moved to New York, where she continued her art education and expanded her career on an international scale.
Her works are part of prestigious private collections across Europe and America, as well as the Istanbul Toy Museum. Emel has participated in exhibitions in major art hubs such as Turkey, Japan, London, Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris.
She currently lives in New York and continues her artistic practice from her studio in Brooklyn.
