Aeson Baldevia is a Negrense visual artist and image-maker, whose works have been showcased globally, including in Switzerland, Belgium, London, South Korea, and Germany. His career began at 14 when he won first runner-up in a photo contest during the Negros Environment Week, competing against professionals. Aeson studied Liberal Arts and Commerce at the University of St. La Salle, becoming the first and only four-time recipient of the Corps d’ Elite Award for visual arts. His work, deeply rooted in cultural preservation, includes "Antes Sanda Madura / Before They Are Gone," a visual homage to the Panay Bukidnon community. Known for his sensitivity to cultural narratives, Aeson has become a prominent figure in the art world.
