The Artistic Journey of John Waski
John Waski was born and raised on the east end of Long Island, NY, where the natural settings and idyllic lighting significantly influenced his artistic growth. He holds a B.F.A. from the Atlanta College of Art in Atlanta, GA. After graduation, John moved to New York City to pursue a career in art and design, continuing his studies at the Arts Students League, where he developed a love for the human form. John works in various disciplines and mediums, including oil, acrylic, enamel, ink, pastels, sculpture, and mixed media. His art serves as a vessel to portray the many facets of the human condition, drawing upon the raw energy of relationships between spiritual, natural, and man-made forces. John and his wife currently reside in Westport, CT, where they founded Waski Design LLC, a Strategic Brand Identity Design firm. John now pursues his fine art career full-time, with his work featured in numerous group exhibits and private collections.
