Stephen Barber is a visual artist based in Brooklyn, New York, with a rich background in both sculpture and painting. He holds a BFA from Wayne State University in Detroit and an MFA from Pratt University in New York. After retiring from a career in Information Technology, Stephen returned to his artistic roots, becoming an active member of the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists. His work has been frequently exhibited in New York and Texas, as well as in online exhibitions. Stephen's passion for the environment serves as the foundation for his art, with his paintings often inspired by photographs taken during hikes, and his recent sculptures crafted from fallen branches. His work captures small moments of awareness of the natural world, which are becoming increasingly rare in modern life.
