Federico Cuadrado was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on July 21, 1977. He pursued studies in philosophy, communication sciences, and art history. Federico's artistic development was significantly shaped in the workshop of maestro Walter Aiello, which remains a source of learning and artistic enrichment for him. His work explores sensations ranging from the coldness of shapes to the warmth of the whole, using the intensity of color. Federico's challenge is to interpret or reinterpret objects of interest using geometric shapes, which may initially seem resistant to expressive, subjective, and emotional missions. His recent series delves into expressionism and figuration, using high contrasts and triangular geometric patterns to organize the surface, drawing inspiration from artists like Picasso, Toulouse, Modigliani, and Velázquez.
