Art is my only possession in life. It is the window through which I see the world . In my realistic paintings of urban and natural landscapes, the light, reflections in the water, the green of groves, the sea, and rivers always feature something that denotes human presence. I also like to mix realism with characters like unicorns, cyclists, and flying sailboats, among others. Often, I cannot resist the temptation for the unusual to enter the work like a visitor who knocks at my door, and it is impossible not to let them in. In my surrealist works, everything flies, in brig ht blue skies, higher than the horizon; it is a yearning for peace and elevation.”
