Artist Statement
In my work, I explore the rich interplay between reality and imagination, bringing forth surreal landscapes and characters that exist at the crossroads of dream and memory. My paintings are an invitation to enter a world where boundaries dissolve, where each figure, shape, and color tells a story both familiar and mysterious.
Through my use of vibrant color and intricate details, I aim to evoke an emotional response, asking viewers to look beyond the surface and discover deeper narratives within the chaos of life. Every piece is a journey into the subconscious—a space where nostalgia, whimsy, and the absurd blend together in unexpected harmony.
My influences range from early 20th-century surrealism to Eastern European folk art, and I am continually inspired by the human condition: our joys, sorrows, and the contradictions that define us. I hope that my art becomes a mirror in which each viewer sees a fragment of their own story, encouraging them to embrace both the light and shadow within themselves.
Through my art, I seek to create not just images but experiences—worlds that remain with you, like a half-remembered dream or a forgotten tale.
