Jane Beaumont's art is inspired by the vivid sights and sounds, the intense heat and wildness of her early years in West Africa, which have certainly inspired her love of color, texture, and free mark-making. For her, art is the language of the soul, the gateway to sustaining inner balance, and an avenue for bringing hope to the world; hope that comes from making, appreciating, and owning art. Her art is never planned, but led from the heart and curated through a slow and intuitive discernment process along the way. Jane is inspired by her travels and has created series from her times in Italy, Ibiza, and Bali. She wants her work to communicate playfulness and a bold call to delight in the innate ability we all have to live a creative life.
