Leah Poller, born in Pennsylvania, received her classical training in sculpture at the prestigious Ecole Nationale Superieure de Beaux Arts in Paris, France. During her 24 years in Paris, she immersed herself in a rich, multi-cultural environment, interacting with prominent members of the international arts communities from France, Spain, Italy, and Latin America. In 1992, Poller returned to the United States and established her studio in a quintessential Soho loft in New York City. Her work has been exhibited nationally in cities like NY, Chicago, Miami, LA, Tucson, Santa Fe, and Washington, as well as internationally in France, Mexico, China, and Italy. In 2015, she was the only foreign artist featured in the Beijing Biennale of Female Sculptors.
