The Artistic Journey of Karin Bos
Karin Bos has the ability to create landscapes that are both beautiful and intriguing, presenting a kindly world at first glance. Upon closer inspection, her images reveal an ambiguous and slightly ominous undertone. Born in 1966 in Rijswijk, the Netherlands, Karin graduated from the Amsterdam School of Fine Arts in 1989. She now lives and works in Amsterdam. Her main media include painting, drawing, and printing. Karin has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in museums and galleries both in the Netherlands and internationally. Her work is represented in museum, corporate, and public collections globally, including the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Museum CAB Burgos, CODA Museum Apeldoorn, the Lonsford Collection of Purdue University, and Stadtmuseum Borken in Germany.
