The Artistic Journey of Jane Beaumont
Jane Beaumont's art draws from a rich source of life experiences: as an educator, a play therapist working with children who have experienced trauma and setbacks, and a creator and trainer of programs for children and teachers in the world's most vulnerable communities. Her training in textiles and as an interior designer has been a constant influence in her life and art practice, and her desire to maximize texture in her work led to the inclusion of collage. The accidental and serendipitous connections that random pieces of paper make during collage work can result in some exciting and innovative work, becoming the signature of her earlier work.
