The Artistic Journey of Amy Spitzer

Amy Spitzer has worked as an artist for almost 50 years, with her passion for art reignited during a foreign studies program at Waseda University in Tokyo, where she immersed herself in Japanese culture. This experience rekindled her desire to express herself through painting. Amy studied under acclaimed painter Richard Yarde and briefly attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Over the years, she has developed a painting method inspired by master painters from the Renaissance to the 19th century, adapted for contemporary materials and expression.
