From Passion to Steel: Arman Hambardzumyan's "Abstract Love #2"

Apricus Art Collection showcases the transformative power of artistic inspiration with Arman Hambardzumyan's "Abstract Love #2." This unique 2D metal sculpture is a testament to the artist's ability to translate the ephemeral feelings of love and passion into a tangible and enduring form.

A Journey of Inspiration

"Abstract Love #2" is part of Hambardzumyan's "Abstract Love" series, a fascinating journey that began with his graphic art series "After Making Love" in 2016. Created using coal on paper, these drawings captured the artist's inner world, deeply inspired by the emotions and energy surrounding love. The artist states that the name of the series should not confuse the viewer but the graphic works express his inner world inspired by love.

The spark for the "Abstract Love" sculptures ignited during Hambardzumyan's participation in ArtExpo New York in 2017. The city's towering skyscrapers, with their harmonious blend of glass and metal structures, deeply influenced him. Upon returning home, Hambardzumyan embarked on creating the "Abstract Love" series, transforming his graphic drawings into striking 2D sculptures.

Expressing Love Through Metal

In this series, Hambardzumyan uses metal to represent the life-giving energy of love, carefully balancing lines and symbols to create a harmonious composition. "Abstract Love #2" is a visual embodiment of these concepts, inviting viewers to contemplate the complexities and beauty of human connection.
